The bloody glove

There was always broken glass and abandoned stolen cars and all the kind of flotsam and jetsam you might expect to find in that kind of place. One day I was walking in the morning and I saw this:
That is blood, btw, and it looked like the glove been pulled off in a manner which turned it inside out – keeping the precious (noxious) fluid inside moist and fresh. Maybe it fell out of a garbage truck. Maybe some renegade physician threw it out of a cab window the night before after performing some clandestine procedure. Who knew. There wasn’t a hospital or ER anywhere within blocks and blocks of where the glove lay, and to this day I still wince in disgust over speculation regarding its true origins.
